It's hard to believe that it's already December! In just a few short weeks, I'll be returning home, Christmas will come and go and then the new year will be here. But it's only the beginning of December, so that means we're going to look back at my favorites from the past month!
Veganese Hair Conditioner
I've found my new holy grail conditioner. Veganese makes my hair incredibly soft and shiny along with detangling my rat's nest of a hair. You think I'm kidding, but when you only wash your hair once a week and barely even look at a hair brush, your hair is a literal nightmare before hair wash day. This conditioner (combined with lots of detangling spray) gets the numerous knots out of my poor hair.
ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Satin Lip in Baracuda
This isn't a favorites without at least one Lush and one ColourPop item. I've been loving the ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Satin Lip in Baracuda this month. It's the perfect deeper rose tone that has actually been a nice break from my typical dark lip colors. I also love the formula because it's so soft and doesn't dry out my lips at all.
Broke College Student Long Sleeve T-shirts
I wrote about my friend Robert's brand at the beginning of the month, and I'd just like to reiterate how much I love his current Broke College Student collection. He should soon be releasing these, and I suggest you hop on over to his website and pick them up as soon as they're available. I've been living in these shirts all month long.
Love Your Melon Burgundy Cuffed Woven Beanie
Now that winter is here, I can finally wear my Love Your Melon beanie that I've been holding onto since spring. I specifically love this beanie because I think that the mission behind it is great. When you buy a beanie, they give one to a child with cancer. I want to go and buy every single one the have because of their mission.
The Beautiful Fall: Fashion, Genius, and Glorious Excess in 1970s Paris by Alicia Drake
This was my book of the month, and trust me, it took the whole month to finish it. It's not really that long of a book, but I only read it while on planes, trains and other forms of transportation. Drake writes about the intertwined lives of Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld and their mutual rise from the '50s to present day. I always find it very interesting to read about designers whose collections I've looked at and loved. There's so much more behind the collections they make, and Drake gives an insight into both Saint Laurent and Lagerfeld's lives. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in either designer.
Starboy (feat. Daft Punk) by The Weeknd
I'm a huge fan of the Weeknd, so I was really excited when he released his newest music this month. I need to listen to the full album more to decided whether or not it will be my new go-to, but I know for sure that I love this song. It has remnants of the Weeknd from Triology with some addition pop elements that are reminiscent of today's pop music. I just hope he doesn't go more mainstream with his sound than he already has, or I feel like I won't like his music as much anymore.
Joanne by Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga's new album has been my obsession this month, especially the songs "John Wayne" and "Angel Down." I've also been obsessed with Gaga's new style. Her music and fashion choices are much better than the meat dress days of old. I mean, just look at that album cover! Where can I get a hat like that?
Another month down, one month to go for 2016. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see a December favorites post or one that contains my favorites from the whole year!
Have a great weekend!
